POSITION OVERVIEW
TransGrid Energy is seeking an Asset Operations Specialist to assist with the management of assets within the company’s portfolio. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to help ensure the optimal and compliant operations of the assets.
This position is responsible for the project operations in accordance with requirements in a manner that maximizes availability and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor, track, and support day-to-day operations and maintenance to help ensure high performance and availability of TGE’s assets to maximize ROA by maintaining fleet availability and market participation. Identify issues and work with stakeholders to remedy.
Troubleshoot operational issues with asset performance, scheduling, and market alignment.
Support the implementation of initiatives to improve facility and overall business profitability.
Support accurate and timely financial reporting by coordinating with TGE’s finance and accounting teams.
Coordinate tasks related to operational compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Provide data-driven operational insights to leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Document and streamline operations and market participation processes.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in power plant operations, stakeholder processes, and energy market activities.
Knowledge and experience with utility-scale battery and solar technologies.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
