Who we’re looking for

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is hiring a Senior Production Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise integration platforms, with a focus on MuleSoft and related middleware technologies. You’ll take ownership of ensuring our critical integration systems are resilient, secure, and performant, while driving improvements in deployments, monitoring, and incident response.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in production environments, has deep troubleshooting skills, and brings a reliability-first mindset.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead day-to-day operational support for MuleSoft and other integration platforms (Kafka, TIBCO, Apache Camel).
• Serve as an escalation point for complex production incidents, including root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Own deployments, upgrades, and performance tuning of integration systems.
• Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, and proactive remediation using tools like Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
• Partner with SREs, developers, and architects to define and enforce reliability and security standards.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise integration/middleware platforms in mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on expertise with at least two of: MuleSoft, Kafka, Apache Camel, TIBCO.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools (Dynatrace highly preferred, plus CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk).
• Experience leading incident response and postmortems, with a track record of improving system reliability.

Added bonus if you have

• Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS or hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
