Who we’re looking for 

Toyota’s Enterprise Technology Strategy Architecture Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated IT Manager for the Delivery Excellence Coach role.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and enhance the Agile transformation initiatives within the organization, ensuring effective project management practices are implemented to drive operational excellence.

Reporting to the Delivery Excellence Senior Manager, the person in this role will support the department's objective to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 


What you’ll be doing 

  • Lead Agile transformation initiatives across teams, promoting Agile methodologies and best practices

  • Oversee project management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project-related challenges

  • Set leading practices for delivery standards to enhance team collaboration and performance

  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders

  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile principles and project management techniques

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Leading a team of Toyota employees and Contingent Workers

  • Collaborating with executive stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives and drive business outcomes

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Experience in IT project management and Agile coaching

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)

  • Prior experience leading and managing a team

  • Prior experience transforming a team/department/enterprise as it relates to Agile transformation/coaching

Added bonus if you have

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Experience with change management practices

  • Additional Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certifications
