About the Team
We are a global team of 140+ awesome people working from over 40 countries around the globe. We hire globally, you work locally — in the heart of London, a beach outside of Río de Janeiro, or a quiet village near Florence, the choice is yours. Every few months we travel to meet up somewhere in the world and spend some quality time together. The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of speed, design, and experimentation. You’ll build user-facing features using React and related technologies, supporting our product growth efforts with a strong focus on team activation, onboarding, and conversion to paid plans.
You’ll be involved not just in development, but also in generating lightweight design proposals and suggesting improvements to ship experiments faster, always keeping the hypothesis in focus.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Leading and building rapid product experiments across Track and Suite
Translating hypotheses into UI solutions in collaboration with Product Designers
Optimizing frontend performance for speed and usability
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship end-to-end experiments
Maintaining high code quality and conducting code reviews
Proactively helping reduce experiment scope and improve implementation speed through pragmatic design and technical suggestions
About you
You’re a hands-on senior engineer who can bring structure, speed, and creative thinking into experimentation. You’re analytical, pragmatic, and excited to work closely with Product to validate hypotheses and drive measurable impact.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong experience with JavaScript, React, and preferably Redux (and a side-effect library like Redux-Saga)
Is comfortable working with TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern frontend stacks
Has experience leading development projects and collaborating cross-functionally
Understands experimentation and can balance technical debt vs speed
Has experience designing or co-creating simple UI/UX flows (no design tools required)
Is proactive, detail-aware (but not obsessed with pixel-perfection), and able to simplify complexity
Communicates clearly and works well in a remote, async-first team
Is eager to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the engineering culture
Has excellent English communication skills
Benefits
Freedom to choose when and how much you work - we only measure results
24 days of paid time off a year, plus your local holidays
Unlimited sick leave
In-person meetups for team-building (expenses covered)
4-6 weeks paid sabbatical (depending on the tenure)
Laptop budget up to €2,500 and it renews every 3 years
€2,000 budget to set up your home office, and additional €300 every year after 3 years of tenure
€3,000 per year for co-working space membership and/or internet service at home
€4,000 per year contribution to use for training, workshops, and conferences
€2,400 per year contribution for any equipment or services to improve and/or maintain your physical and mental health
Support for buying tools you need for doing your best work (even eyeglasses if you need a new pair)
