Part-time Graphic Designer

About the Role
TigerData is looking for a part-time Graphic Designer who’s just as skilled at crafting clean, brand-aligned visuals as they are at bringing them to life through motion. You’ll design marketing and campaign assets across formats — including social graphics, infographics, video thumbnails, event collateral, and animated visuals.

You’ll report to the Design Lead and work closely with the Marketing team and other designers. This is a design-first role — motion graphics are part of the toolkit, but the bulk of the work is high-quality, consistent brand design across channels.

📍 Location & Time Zone
This is a remote role, but you must be available to work US Eastern Time (ET) hours.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Designing digital assets for social, display ads, blog, email, video, and web

• Creating branded collateral: event signage, swag, templates, and slide decks

• Developing infographics, visualizations, and e-books to simplify complex ideas

• Producing motion assets: animated diagrams, web animations (Lottie experience is a plus), paid ads

• Creating design asset templates in Canva for non-designers to use

• Collaborating closely with Marketing and fellow designers on campaigns and launches

• Organizing and managing design assets for easy reuse and/or improving our Figma-based design system

You could be a great fit if you…

• Have 4+ years of graphic design experience and a strong portfolio that includes motion work

• Are fluent in Figma, Illustrator, and After Effects (non-negotiable)

• Have motion experience and can produce lightweight animations

• Are comfortable working inside brand guidelines — and evolving them when needed

• Can break down complex technical topics into an easy to understand format

• Communicate clearly and manage time effectively in a remote environment

• Bonus: Have experience with Lottie, or modern web animation tools

• Are curious about AI’s role in streamlining design (e.g., automation, iterations)

You might not be a great fit if…

• You’re mostly focused on motion design — this is a graphic design-first role

• You need heavy creative direction or a rigid approval process to get started

• You prefer working outside of brand systems or dislike collaborative iteration

• You’re not available for part-time work or can’t overlap with ET hours
