Responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Reconcile tax reports and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate tax rate tables and exemption certificates.
- Research and resolve tax discrepancies and notices from tax authorities.
- Assist with sales tax audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on the company.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, IT, and other departments on tax treatment of transactions.
- Support tax planning and compliance initiatives.
Education
- Background in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
