The Substitute Program Leader will work part-time in various locations, mentoring and guiding students while providing homework assistance and fostering a safe and engaging environment.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include assisting with homework, promoting positive behavior, maintaining safety, engaging children with lesson plans, and supporting a nurturing environment.
Skills: Candidates need experience working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with college units or the ability to pass an instructional aide test. Availability for at least 3 days a week is also necessary.
Location: The position is based in Eastvale, CA, with potential assignments at different sites throughout the region.
Compensation: $20 - $20 / Hourly

Substitute Program Leaders work directly with a group of students (ratio is contingent upon CDC guidelines), acting as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Substitute Program Leaders must have a genuine interest in the growth, development, and provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the students they teach. Substitute Program Leader’s ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, will be required in giving our students the stability and nurturing atmosphere they need to succeed.
