Responsibilities
- Serve as medical director for skilled nursing facilities, participating in administrative and quality initiatives.
- Attend and contribute to monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings.
- Oversee clinical guideline reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and train facility staff.
- Act as attending physician for residents, providing comprehensive primary care services.
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for day-to-day resident care management.
- Participate in chronic care management, transitional care, RPM, and other quality programs.
- Supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Utilize electronic health record systems and administrative medical tools.
Education
- Medical degree and valid medical license.
- Board certification in relevant medical specialty preferred.
