Digital Marketing Manager - Fool Community Foundation

The Fool Community Foundation, founded by The Motley Fool, expands wealth-building opportunities for Americans living paycheck to paycheck by creating tools, funding mission-driven partners, and telling impactful stories. The Digital Marketing Manager will lead end-to-end digital campaigns—with a strong emphasis on fundraising—creating and coordinating assets, analyzing performance, and driving donor engagement to grow the Foundation's reach and revenue.

Skills

  • Proven experience running digital fundraising or donor engagement campaigns
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Braze) and CMS (WordPress)
  • Experience with CRM/donor management systems
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and applying them to content
  • A/B testing and data-driven optimization experience
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social media analytics
  • Graphic design competency with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end digital creative: concepting, writing, layout, visuals, and final assembly for email, social, newsletters, website articles, video scripts/storyboards, and fundraising appeals.
  • Coordinate multi-asset, multi-audience campaigns from planning through execution, analysis, and final reporting.
  • Maintain a comprehensive fundraising and content calendar to ensure coordinated, timely messaging across audiences.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance, implement A/B tests, iterate tactics, and report insights to improve results.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to source impact stories, donor updates, and content.
  • Manage external vendors (designers, copywriters, developers) as needed to produce high-quality assets.
  • Ensure all content aligns with organizational values and brand guidelines and complies with privacy/disclosure standards.
  • Stay current on digital marketing and fundraising best practices and recommend strategic improvements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
