Sr. Account Director, Account Mgmt (Shopper)

TMA is a culture-driven creative agency seeking a seasoned Senior Account Director to lead shopper marketing for two priority CPG clients. The role requires strategic leadership across omnichannel shopper programs, strong retailer and retail-media expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to deliver insight-led campaigns that drive brand and sales outcomes.

Skills

  • 10+ years in shopper marketing or related CPG agency experience
  • Deep understanding of omnichannel shopper behavior
  • Proven experience with major national retailers (Walmart, Target, Kroger, Amazon)
  • Strong experience with retail media networks and digital shopper tools
  • Excellent client management and presentation skills
  • Budget and KPI management
  • Cross-functional team leadership and project management
  • Data-driven approach with analytics and performance optimization

Responsibilities

  • Serve as strategic lead for two CPG clients, translating brand and sales goals into shopper/omnichannel plans
  • Develop retailer-specific strategies and shopper insights for Walmart, Kroger, Target, Amazon and others
  • Oversee briefing, development, and execution of omnichannel campaigns (in-store, digital, social, influencer, eCommerce, retail media)
  • Manage timelines, budgets, KPIs, and performance tracking for all programs
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, production, media, analytics)
  • Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships and act as primary client liaison
  • Monitor retailer strategies, media offerings and category trends to identify whitespace opportunities
  • Mentor and develop direct reports and provide clear performance feedback

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or specialized marketing certifications a plus
