Responsibilities: You will provide technical leadership, build a high-performing engineering team, and collaborate with product partners to develop innovative solutions for student skill-building programs.
Skills: Candidates should have 7+ years in Agile development, expertise in web-based product delivery, experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React, and strong team management skills.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have experience in managing engineering teams, overseeing product features, and a solid understanding of AWS architectures.
Location: This is a fully remote position, with optional hybrid work for local candidates, based in Virginia, USA.
Compensation: $170000 - $195000 / Annually

Location: This is a fully remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office).

About the Opportunity
In this role, you will serve as the Senior Engineering Director for our Product Team. You will lead the engineers building a nationwide Work-Based Learning program to reach tens of thousands of students. Alongside a Tech Lead, Product Manager and Product Designer you will empower educators, engage business partners, and foster student learning. You will enable the programs long-term scale by defining technical strategies, establishing engineering practices, and growing a high-performing engineering team.
