- Experience with Direct Connect for Staples orders and credit card approval processes
- Proficiency in preparing training presentations and financial reports
Responsibilities
- Oversee division and department-wide purchasing procedures and financial activities
- Coordinate requisitions, purchase orders, and financial set-asides
- Ensure 100% purchasing compliance through standard operating procedures and staff training
- Communicate updated purchasing schedules and participate in Purchasing forums as department representative
- Prepare vendor service agreements and financial/statistical reports
- Track and report on purchasing compliance key performance indicators
- Serve as liaison with city departments, divisions, and outside agencies
- Assist in developing and implementing program standards, policies, and procedures
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience
