Responsibilities
- Program, configure, maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and DCS platforms for water and wastewater plants
- Administer and secure SCADA systems and maintain a standardized, reliable control environment
- Create and implement electrical wiring diagrams and layout designs for new control equipment
- Design, review, and participate in construction and integration of control system projects
- Troubleshoot communication frameworks and protocols across wired and wireless architectures
- Perform repair, inspection, adjustment and calibration of electronic controls and instrumentation
- Prepare plans, specifications, contracts, and procure parts and services for control systems
- Act as technical lead for control systems strategy, data acquisition, and enterprise data delivery
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Technology, or related field
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and tuberculosis screening
