Responsibilities
- Serve as senior operational designee translating strategic initiatives into operational programs and ensuring continuity of OPOM operations
- Directly supervise analytical, policy, and community engagement staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide professional development
- Oversee complaint intake, investigation oversight, complainant interviews, and coordination with FWPD Internal Affairs
- Lead patterns-and-practices assessments, analyze departmental data to identify systemic issues, and develop policy and SOP recommendations
- Design and implement community outreach and public communication strategies; represent the office at events and in sensitive public forums
- Ensure compliance with CJIS requirements and maintain necessary security and background standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage program operations, budgets, and reporting
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Labor/Employment Law, or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass CJIS fingerprint-based background check
