Responsibilities
- Develop and review park improvement plans, specifications, project schedules and budgets
- Manage multiple projects and set priorities to deliver work on schedule and within budget
- Administer public bidding and award process and manage consultant scopes and proposals
- Oversee construction phase with inspectors and contractors to ensure compliance with design
- Monitor and inspect in-house construction projects for quality and regulatory compliance
- Organize and conduct public meetings for park master planning and community input
- Directly supervise Park Planner including assignments, oversight and annual evaluations
- Coordinate with project management team and park staff to resolve complex design and construction issues
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited institution
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Texas Licensed Landscape Architect registration within six months
- Valid Driver's License
