Responsibilities: Lead accessibility audits, deliver internal reports, collaborate on design solutions, and integrate accessibility checks in development while staying updated on accessibility standards.
Skills: Expertise in WCAG 2.1/2.2, manual testing with assistive technologies, design system contribution, and strong communication skills for technical concepts.
Qualifications: 5+ years in digital accessibility, proficiency in creating accessible designs, experience with automated testing tools, and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for accessibility.
Location: Hybrid model in San Francisco, combining remote work flexibility with in-person collaboration.
Compensation: $220000 - $280000 / Annually

This role is central to our commitment to building equitable experiences, and you will have a direct impact on making Grammarly’s AI-powered communication assistance accessible to millions of users globally. You will collaborate with a passionate group of designers, engineers, and product managers to embed accessibility into the fabric of our development process.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations. In Canada, all locations where we support employment are considered “Zone 1”.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and maybe modified in the future.

Zone 1: $220,000 - $280,000/year (USD)
