Responsibilities
- Acquire property interests for public projects through negotiation, administrative processes, and eminent domain
- Prepare and present eminent domain documentation and recommendations to city officials
- Inspect properties, review appraisals, and negotiate agreements with property owners
- Provide relocation assistance to displaced residential and commercial owners
- Liaise with City Aviation Department and contractors on federally funded property acquisitions
- Manage leasing of mineral interests owned by the City, resolving title issues and ensuring royalty revenue recovery
- Draft, negotiate, and monitor contracts related to property agreements and permits
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, real estate, urban planning or related field
