Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based departmental software applications
- Manage user roles, permissions, and application security settings
- Monitor application performance and coordinate updates, patches, and upgrades
- Develop scripts and small applications to automate tasks and integrate systems
- Maintain code repositories, version control, and deployment procedures
- Lead or assist in evaluating, selecting, and deploying new software solutions
- Coordinate testing, data migration, and system integrations
- Create and maintain implementation documentation, configuration standards, and best practices
- Provide advanced support diagnosing and resolving complex application issues
- Liaise with vendors for bug fixes and advanced troubleshooting
- Monitor application logs and proactively address performance or stability issues
- Develop user guides, knowledge-base articles, and deliver group and one-on-one training
- Gather user feedback to improve adoption and satisfaction
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (required)
- Candidates with equivalent or greater relevant work experience may be considered
- Must pass CJIS fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility
