Position Overview

CARIAN is seeking an Energy Efficiency Analyst to support our client’s Energy Efficiency portfolio in Newark, NJ. The Analyst will assist the program management team in day-to-day operations, data tracking, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure the successful delivery of multiple energy efficiency initiatives.

This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and enjoys supporting programs that advance energy efficiency and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Energy Efficiency Program Manager in coordinating and tracking program activities, deliverables, and milestones.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data to support reporting, budgeting, and performance tracking.

  • Prepare documentation, meeting summaries, and presentation materials for internal and client use.

  • Assist with monitoring vendor performance, program participation metrics, and key performance indicators.

  • Maintain databases, dashboards, and records to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth program execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in business, energy, engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 2–5 years of experience supporting energy efficiency or utility programs, project management, or business analysis.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.

  • Experience with utility systems, regulatory processes, or energy efficiency operations is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $95,000 annually, based on a full-time equivalent schedule. This range represents a good-faith estimate at the time of posting; actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, the role includes eligibility for bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a company 401(k) match.
