Mixed Signal Design Engineer, EDA/PDK CAD
Skills
- Deep knowledge of PDK installation and management.
- Experience with EDA tool flows and physical verification methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex CAD issues.
- Ability to work effectively with foundries, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal simulation processes.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain process design kits (PDKs) and electronic design automation (EDA) tool environments.
- Manage and optimize physical verification flows including DRC, LVS, EM/IR, and extraction.
- Support mixed-signal simulation and troubleshoot complex CAD challenges.
- Collaborate with vendors, foundries, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Continuously improve CAD tool flows and design efficiency across analog, digital, and software domains.
Education
- BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science.
