Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for long-running workflows, messaging, interactivity, scheduling, and reliability
- Translate customer and developer needs into clear APIs, semantics, and developer UX
- Partner with engineering to make tradeoffs on performance, reliability, cost, and scalability
- Lead discovery and research with teams building agents, workflow-driven systems, and interactive apps
- Drive cross-team alignment across SDKs, cloud, and runtime components
- Specify scheduling, batching, and global orchestration models for large-scale workloads
- Own operational controls, retry semantics, recovery tooling, and cost-efficiency strategies
- Represent the product externally to customers, community, and internal stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (preferred but not required)
