Skills
- 3+ years iOS or tvOS development experience
- Strong Swift knowledge and experience with tvOS SDK
- Familiarity with SwiftUI and UIKit for tvOS interfaces
- Experience integrating video players (HLS) and ad insertion (DAI) technologies
- Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth2, SSO, SAML) and secure storage
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot memory, performance, and startup issues
- Experience implementing analytics and crash reporting
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain native tvOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI
- Develop playback, navigation, personalization, and performance-focused features
- Integrate HLS video playback and Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) platforms
- Implement analytics, crash reporting, and automated testing frameworks
- Optimize app performance for memory usage, startup time, and UI responsiveness
- Consume and help define RESTful backend APIs in collaboration with backend teams
- Follow CI/CD processes and contribute to deployment automation
- Write modular, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Stay current with Apple tvOS SDK changes, App Store requirements, and best practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience in mobile/tvOS development accepted
