Responsibilities
- Shoot and produce compelling video and audio for news, sports, features and documentary-style stories under daily deadlines
- Operate ENG trucks or IP video-based live units (TVU) and perform live on-air or live-stream segments when needed
- Work solo or collaboratively on daily news assignments and contribute story ideas in editorial meetings
- Edit content using non-linear editing systems and optimize stories for television, web and social platforms
- Use creative production techniques, graphics, and incorporate viewer-generated media to enhance storytelling
- Safely operate news-gathering vehicles and transport gear to various locations
Education
- BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field preferred
- Equivalently, several years of newsroom/photojournalism experience accepted
