Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Ruby APIs, services, and systems for order routing and ledger flows
- Implement improvements to security, reliability, and performance
- Provide technical guidance and participate in peer code reviews
- Translate requirements into production-quality code with lightweight supervision
- Work independently on smaller tasks and collaborate on larger projects with senior engineers
- Write comprehensive automated tests for delivered code
- Perform light infrastructure work to support application development
- Learn new systems and work toward ownership of core services
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrable professional software engineering experience on a team
