Senior Site Reliability Engineer I
Skills
- 6+ years software engineering or SRE experience
- 3+ years managing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar)
- Experience operating Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, or similar)
- Proficiency in managed languages (Python, Go, C#, Java, etc.) with API and unit-testing experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning, builds, releases, and integration tests
- Familiarity with observability tools (APM, logging, metrics) for debugging
- Experience designing tooling to simplify SaaS/PaaS operational management
- Experience creating testable Infrastructure as Code modules
- Strong empathy and collaboration skills to support software engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Build foundational, easy-to-use platforms and tools for rapid, consistent, and secure service provisioning
- Apply cloud-native SRE best practices to improve reliability and availability
- Write performant, maintainable code and well-tested APIs (Go or Python)
- Debug and resolve issues in cloud-native distributed systems using observability data
- Contribute design docs, test plans, and usage guides to promote self-service
- Automate infrastructure and delivery via CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with engineering teams, mentor peers, and champion new ideas
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
