About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to take full ownership of StudyFetch’s primary social channels (TikTok and Instagram). In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving engagement, growing our community, and shaping the long-term voice and creative direction of our platforms.
End-to-end ownership of StudyFetch’s primary social channels (TikTok, Instagram)
Full creative execution: you’ll generate ideas, script, shoot, edit, and publish content, sometimes independently and sometimes with collaborators. Bonus if you have worked in the AI/Education space before
Long-term creative direction: shaping the voice, aesthetic, pacing, and content strategy of each platform
Trend monitoring and proactive ideation: knowing what’s working in edtech, studytok, AI, tools, and culture, and translating that into viral-potential content
Cross-team collaboration: working with product, brand, growth, and analytics teams to amplify launches, campaigns, and updates
Hands-on experimentation: testing formats, A/B hypotheses, and novel creative angles (e.g. “day-in-the-life”, memes, “study hacks”, AI demos, student challenges, etc.)
3+ years of direct experience running high-impact social media accounts, especially on fast-moving platforms like TikTok and Instagram
Demonstrated track record of building creative content that leads to measurable engagement and follower growth
Strong video storytelling skills, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production
A pulse on what’s trending culturally, especially among high school and college students
Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and shift between hands-on execution and strategic thinking
Compensation & Perks:
