Skills
- 2+ years building production React applications and related toolchains
- Extensive experience with one or more general-purpose languages (Java, C#)
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and backend services
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and observability
- Strong product and commercial judgment, with the ability to translate requirements into robust solutions
- Proven experience owning projects end-to-end and mentoring other engineers
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-impact features across frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering peers to define technical direction and ensure best practices.
- Own initiatives from concept through production, balancing technical quality with commercial outcomes.
- Mentor and grow junior engineers and promote an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
- Ensure reliability, performance, security, and observability of systems in production.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
