Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include guiding secure implementations, conducting design reviews and risk assessments, developing reference architectures, and supporting AI-related initiatives while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Skills: Required skills include strong experience in cloud security, secure SDLC, identity architecture, and understanding of AI/ML systems risks, along with familiarity with compliance standards like NIST CSF and CIS Controls.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include 8 years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architecture roles, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP and CCSP.
Location: This is a remote position available to residents of all 50 states and D.C.
Compensation: $81045 - $150000 / Annually

The Security Architect leads secure design efforts for enterprise initiatives through a structured Security Architecture-as-a-Service (SAaaS) model. This role provides architecture support during project intake—guiding secure implementations across applications, cloud, infrastructure, identity, and emerging technologies like AI.
The architect collaborates with cross-functional business units—including Engineering, DevOps, Legal, Product, HR, and Data teams—to ensure security is embedded from the start and aligned with enterprise standards, Zero Trust principles, and compliance requirements.
