The Admissions Officer will manage student recruitment efforts at Strayer University, including interviewing prospective students and guiding them through the application process while meeting performance objectives.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include making outbound calls, interviewing prospective students, educating them about Strayer, assisting with the application process, and ensuring the completeness of admissions files.
Skills: Required skills include strong detail orientation, communication skills, customer service experience, and proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is highly preferred, along with 2-5 years of customer service or sales experience.
Location: This position is located in Washington DC, USA and may require 10% travel.
Compensation: $19 - $29 / Hourly
Under general supervision, is responsible for handling all aspects of the student recruitment efforts in a fast-paced, results and compliance-driven environment. This position is responsible for helping individuals interested in attending Strayer enroll in the University by responding to inquiries, interviewing prospective students over the phone walking students through the entire application and enrollment process and consistently achieving performance objectives. This also includes partnering with other functions to provide prospective students with the information necessary to determine if Strayer would meet their educational needs such as program offerings, financial options, and satisfying academic prerequisites.

$22.12/hr is the expected starting pay for this position. This offer is based on current budgetary guidelines and additional factors outlined below.
