Stanley Consultants is seeking a talented and motivated CADD Designer to work with our Power Generation Team. This position uses primarily Bentley software to produce neat, legible construction documents that meet company and client quality standards. The successful candidate primarily functions as a member of a project design team developing construction documents for structural steel to support equipment, pipe, and cable tray, and for concrete foundations of buildings, engine generators, turbine generators, transformers, and other equipment. Additional duties include 3D modeling of Steel and Concrete structures in multidiscipline federated model projects. 

• Create and revise construction drawings under direct supervision from verbal and written instructions, marked prints, sketches, computations, and other sources prepared by others.
• Accumulate and assemble information as directed by drafting or task leads.
• Familiarize self with engineering, construction, or drafting terms and symbols.
• Check for inconsistency between drawings.
• Have a solid understanding of design and drafting techniques, and a functional familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

• Must possess an Associate’s degree in CADD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Bentley - Microstation & OpenBuildings Designer.
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience modeling in 3D.
• Experience with Structural Detailing and Sheet Development of steel structures & concrete foundations.

• ADDA and/or NICET certification  

Stanley’s Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
