US Senior Accountant (Quickbook)
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our finance operations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing clear financial insights. The ideal candidate will be client-facing, with strong communication skills and a high degree of autonomy.
What You’ll Do
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions (sales, receipts, purchases, payments).
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audit readiness.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Process payroll and manage ADP checks.
- Prepare key financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with tax filings and liaise with external accountants as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Actively participate in daily team meetings at 8AM PST.
- 4-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong command of accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online.
- Experience in analyzing financial reports
- Proficient in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with a high degree of autonomy.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients is a plus.
