We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.  Position Summary:  We are seeking a  Sr. Implementation Specialist, EDI/ERP - D365 to join our Microsoft Market Team; Join us and work with our System Automation adapter integrations!  Our implementation experts are responsible for deploying SPS’s solutions and ensuring that all parties’ systems and data are ready to begin communicating.  Our Implementation Specialists manage day-to-day project tasks for integrating e-commerce solutions from close of sale through hand-off to the Customer Operations team.  Exceeding customer expectations is a top priority, which is accomplished by clearly understanding the clients’ business model, the partner resources and limitations, and the value added by the SPS components.   Key Responsibilities:  
  • Perform post-sale technical implementation, including installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration, while managing project progress and ensuring deadlines are met. 
  • Conduct complex tasks independently with minimal supervision, using wide latitude for judgment, and consult with clients to understand their business objectives and operational needs. 
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed of project progress, ensuring effective communication and resolution of scheduling issues. 
  • Maintain a high level of industry-specific business knowledge by staying current with emerging products and technical updates. 
  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, understand clients' business objectives and goals and anticipate needs of customer
  • Provide and review solution design and configuration
  • Handle complex EDI translations
  • Must exhibit a curious expert mindset
  Location:  This role is a remote position, open to candidates in the continental US and Canada, collaborating with a global team!  5-10% travel potential.   Required Qualifications:  
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree, including 3+ years in account management, relationship management, or product management.
  • Prior experience with third parties, consultants, VARs, and application providers is desired.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially over the phone, with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task, and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet browsers. 
   Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Experience with Microsoft ERPs (Business Central) is strongly preferred
  • SQL and query skills
  • History of working with adapter tools such as DMEDI or Vantage Point
  • Knowledge of EDI standards and Order to Cash EDI documents (810, 850, 856, 940, 945)
  • Industry experience in Retail, heavy equipment, automotive, supply chain is desirable
  • Consulting experience in common industry standard business practices, such as ERP or Ecommerce
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Work without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiarity with XML required
  • Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more. 

 

The annual salary range for this role is: $77,300 - $115,900. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
