Email Life Cycle Manager

SpotHopper is a fast-growing marketing and operations platform serving independent restaurants and bars. The Email Life Cycle Manager will own and optimize the full email journey — from acquisition and lead nurturing to retention and re-engagement — working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive conversions and reduce churn.

Skills

  • Advanced HubSpot expertise (workflows, list management, lead scoring, reporting)
  • Experience building and optimizing email automation and drip campaigns
  • Strong segmentation and audience strategy abilities
  • Data-driven campaign analysis and A/B testing experience
  • Familiarity with deliverability best practices and compliance (CAN-SPAM, opt-outs)
  • Clear writing or collaboration with copywriters to produce action-driving email content
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Customer Success

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle email program from acquisition through retention, emphasizing re-engagement, conversion, and education
  • Build, test, and optimize email campaigns including triggered workflows, drip sequences, and monthly customer newsletters
  • Design audience segmentation strategies aligned to lifecycle stages and the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Create and manage lead nurturing programs to move prospects down the funnel
  • Analyze campaign performance (open rate, CTR, conversion, churn) and iterate based on data
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to identify content gaps and deliver timely messaging
  • Maintain clean contact data with proper tagging, segmentation, and compliance practices
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to develop on-brand email templates and content

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Relevant HubSpot certifications recommended (Email Marketing, Inbound, Marketing Automation)
