Skills
- Proven backend development using TypeScript and Node.js (required).
- Experience with GCP; familiarity with AWS/Azure is a plus.
- API design and development for high-throughput services.
- Containerization with Docker and deployments on Kubernetes (preferred).
- Performance tuning, monitoring, and observability for backend systems.
- Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust public and internal APIs (TTS, Payments, Subscriptions, Auth, Consumption Tracking).
- Own and optimize backend architecture for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and AI teams to align backend systems with product strategy and user experience.
- Deliver B2B integrations and customizable solutions for enterprise customers.
- Drive production reliability, observability, and scalable deployment practices across services.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) is optional but welcomed for more senior/complex roles.
- Demonstrated professional experience in backend/system development if degree is not held.
