Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, balance integration/UX tradeoffs, and deliver solutions via a cross-platform SDK
- Design and maintain clear, reliable APIs and lightweight backend services
- Ship cloud functions, backend services, and jobs using Kotlin
- Optimize existing abstractions and algorithms to improve load times and parsing accuracy
- Drive end-to-end system design with an emphasis on simplicity, reliability, and performance
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers to iterate quickly
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree optional; relevant industry experience accepted in lieu of formal education
