Skills
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing or test environments
- Proficiency with CAD software for modeling and review
- Experience with data acquisition hardware and test instrumentation
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with control logic and test control systems
- Numerical data analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Comfort working extended hours and directly with hardware on the floor
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, maintain, and execute test plans from component to vehicle-level systems
- Conduct structural, pressure, leak, and dynamic tests on flight and qualification hardware
- Operate test consoles and data acquisition/control systems; direct technicians during test execution
- Analyze test data using numerical tools and verify hardware meets acceptance criteria
- Design and recommend tooling, poka-yoke, controls, and standardized componentry for production
- Improve test processes, data recording, and site-wide testing efficiency and reliability
- Develop capacity and capital appropriation analyses aligned with volume production needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (required)
- Relevant internships, project team experience, or extracurricular hands-on work accepted
Benefits
- Base salary range: $95,000–$115,000 (Level I) and $110,000–$130,000 (Level II); actual level based on experience
