Skills
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate program by start of employment
- 3+ months of software programming or development experience
- Proficiency in one or more: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
- Experience with debugging, unit testing and performance optimization
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- US citizenship, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test and maintain software across application, flight, firmware, and infrastructure domains
- Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional engineers to define requirements and system diagrams
- Debug, profile and optimize software for performance and reliability
- Develop and run unit tests, integration tests and support verification activities
- Participate in software deployment, operational support and lifecycle activities
- Document designs, create diagrams, and produce clear software requirements and documentation
Education
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program (by start date)
- Relevant coursework in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or related fields
