Skills
- Hands-on electronics debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and soldering
- Experience with digital and mixed-signal designs and PCB schematics
- Networking knowledge including Ethernet and Wi‑Fi standards and home/service provider networking (DNS, DHCP, NAT, IPv4/IPv6)
- Strong data analysis skills in Python or R for telemetry and fleet analysis
- Experience with SQL for data queries
- Familiarity with RF/antenna basics and troubleshooting RF communication systems
- Ability to develop and maintain tooling, dashboards, and well-documented code
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on debugging and failure analysis of phased-array antennas, Wi‑Fi routers, power supply PCBAs and associated cabling
- Analyze telemetry and fleet data to detect, quantify, and prioritize field performance and reliability issues
- Lead technical investigations with tight timelines and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Build and maintain dashboards, scripts, and custom tools to monitor and assess hardware performance and reliability
- Run internal betas and product launches to identify and resolve hardware/software issues before public release
- Collaborate across engineering, production, test, inventory, quality, supply chain, and customer experience teams to drive corrective actions
- Document root causes and corrective actions, and feed learnings back into product design and manufacturing
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related STEM discipline
