Skills
- Civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting
- Familiarity with civil design software (StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, PCSWMM)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D for grading, earthwork, and plan creation
- Knowledge of permitting and environmental regulations
- Project management including estimating, cost control, and scheduling
- Ability to read and approve complex technical drawings and blueprints
Responsibilities
- Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects
- Perform calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater control, water quality, and utility design
- Coordinate design and obtain necessary permits from local, state, and federal agencies
- Manage civil aspects of construction projects including quality control and contractor coordination
- Collaborate with contractors, fabricators, and internal teams for project scheduling and cost estimation
- Resolve design and construction conflicts promptly and effectively
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
