Principal Security AI Architect
The Microsoft Silicon Engineering Solutions and Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team is responsible for developing and delivering the hardware/firmware that is responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. The Security Development team is seeking a visionary Principal Security AI Architect to lead the integration of AI and machine learning into our security architecture. This role will drive innovation across firmware and software security layers, leveraging AI to proactively detect, predict, and mitigate threats, to help increase efficiencies across the security dev teams, in Azure’s hardware infrastructure. The candidate will combine deep technical expertise in security with a foundation in AI/ML, enabling Microsoft to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
This hands-on role will provide technical leadership across the organization and on a growing team tasked with accelerating our productivity and processes so that every developer can achieve more. To be successful in this role you have a great track record of delivering quality results to customers, an engineering mindset, an innate aptitude for agility, background in AI/ML and technical excellence in software/firmware engineering.
