Skills
- Proficient programming in Python and/or C
- Experience with Linux and Windows OS environments
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and agile development
- Experience with hardware interfaces (GPIB, USB, VISA, TCP/IP, CAN, SPI, I2C, Modbus, ADC)
- Ability to design control feedback loops and perform numerical/signal analysis
- Experience troubleshooting software-hardware interactions and lab instrumentation
- Embedded hardware and electro-mechanical systems experience
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, reusable test and automation software (primarily Python) for manufacturing and engineering verification
- Write automation to interact with flight hardware, test equipment, instrumentation, and production documentation systems
- Create custom automation solutions combining embedded electronics and hardware
- Develop algorithms to analyze complex test data and determine acceptance criteria
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation infrastructure and drive root-cause fixes with partner teams
- Define and manage project plans, milestones, and reviews to deliver reliable test systems to production
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a science discipline required
- Computer Science degree preferred
