- Professional RF experience with antennas or communication systems
- Proficiency with radio test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, VSAs, VSGs)
- Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or MATLAB
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and antenna theory
- Knowledge of link budgets and RF active/passive components
- Experience characterizing radio performance at microwave frequencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends for mission-critical deadlines
- ITAR-eligible U.S. person status
Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and characterize prototype antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends for phased arrays, gateways, and consumer wireless products
- Develop electromagnetic simulation models for antennas, filters, and PCB layouts to evaluate performance
- Collaborate closely with EE, ME, DSP, software, and manufacturing teams to design and validate RF systems
- Create and test phased array alignment and calibration solutions
- Develop rapid design validation and production test solutions for high-volume consumer products
- Write automation and test software (primarily Python) to interact with units under test, instrumentation, and documentation systems
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline (required)
- Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering with RF/antenna emphasis (preferred)
