Skills
- Proven RFIC and mixed-signal circuit design experience
- Experience with spectral and EM simulation tools (Spectre, ADS, HFSS, Momentum)
- MMIC and RF front-end design across S- to W-band
- IC layout and floor planning experience
- Hands-on RF test and measurement with network analyzers, VNAs, VSAs, spectrum analyzers
- Packaging, parasitic modeling, and production release experience
- Cross-discipline collaboration with system and digital teams
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed-signal circuits and subsystems
- Derive RFIC specifications and partition functions with system, modem/DSP and ASIC teams
- Develop circuits in SiGe, GaAs, GaN, and CMOS processes
- Perform IC floor planning, layout reviews, and support tapeout
- Prototype, package, and model package/external parasitics for production readiness
- Evaluate and characterize prototype ICs and iterate designs
- Develop and maintain automated test lab equipment and production test plans
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on test, qualification, and production support
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (required)
- Master's or PhD in EE/CE with RF/analog emphasis (preferred)
