Skills
- Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering (required)
- 8+ years experience in RF and antenna research or development
- Experience with 3D EM tools (CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, XFDTD)
- Strong RF fundamentals: impedance matching, aperture/linear antennas, Smith chart, network analysis
- Phased array design, prototyping, and measurement experience
- Familiarity with antenna measurement techniques (anechoic/reverb chambers, near-field)
- Programming experience (Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB) preferred
- Ability and willingness to obtain Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Design advanced antenna and feed systems for phased array and reflector products
- Fabricate and characterize antenna, feed, and RF front-end prototypes
- Develop and test digital beamforming software to demonstrate phased array functionality
- Define specifications and provide phased array expertise to debug satellite products
- Lead or support antenna integration with spacecraft and systems
- Analyze in-field RF performance data and investigate improvements and mitigations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (required)
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with RF/antenna research (preferred)
