- PowerShell scripting skills for automation beyond basic cmdlets.
- Expertise in Windows systems administration including DHCP, DNS, IIS, MS-SQL, NPS.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business deployments.
- Source code and version control proficiency.
- Familiarity with configuration management, provisioning, infrastructure as code, and DevOps concepts.
- Networking skills including IPv4, switching, routing, firewalls, and high availability architectures.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with administrators and engineers to design, deploy, and support Microsoft enterprise software platforms.
- Provide frontline Windows system support and act as primary escalation point for end-user services.
- Manage processes, systems, and tools to maintain resilient, scalable, and flexible systems.
- Recommend and implement system improvements following change control procedures.
- Work with diverse teams to design creative solutions and resolve issues promptly.
- Define, document, and adhere to systems design, testing, and implementation best practices.
- Drive scripting and automation initiatives to solve common problems.
Education
- Typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
