- Scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Active Directory and multi-platform authentication experience
- Virtualization platforms and configuration management tools
- Monitoring, incident response, and operational troubleshooting
- Experience with real-time systems and industrial telemetry networks
- Familiarity with layer 1 best practices and multiplexing technologies
Responsibilities
- Deploy and augment IT infrastructure (networking, servers, desktops) supporting launch operations
- Perform systems upgrades and patching between critical operations, including nights/weekends when required
- Monitor services and respond promptly to incidents to maintain service availability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate potential technical issues
- Author and maintain system documentation, design drawings, and operational procedures
- Leverage automation tools and contribute to systems engineering and infrastructure-as-code efforts
- Ensure systems are configured and maintained in compliance with cybersecurity and export-control standards (e.g., ITAR, NIST, ISO)
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations and be available for extended hours as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Or equivalent technical experience in IT systems administration
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, RHCE, Security+) are a plus
