Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
- 1+ years of design and/or hands-on manufacturing or build experience
- Working knowledge of schematics, electrical integration, assembly and test
- Experience with documentation and configuration management
- Comfortable troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and providing test go/no-go decisions
- Willingness to perform hands-on, physical work (climb ladders, work in tight spaces)
- Ability to work under ambiguous requirements with minimal oversight
Responsibilities
- Manage integration build flow and day-to-day test operations for satellites
- Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration impact
- Interface with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and automation
- Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned
- Evaluate non-conformances, determine root cause, and create actionable system improvements
- Write and execute test plans and procedures; provide go/no-go judgment and rationale
- Support cross-functional, inter-departmental development projects as required
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics (required)
- Master's degree in engineering (preferred)
