- Circuit design and mixed-signal PCB development
- PCB layout oversight and DFM considerations
- Hardware bring-up, test, and troubleshooting
- Experience with processors, FPGAs, Ethernet, multi‑GHz SerDes, and DRAM interfaces (DDR4)
- Familiarity with power electronics, ADC/DAC, I2C, SPI and analog design
- Proficiency in software/tools for hardware validation and scripting (Python, C/C++)
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Develop high-reliability satellite electronics: system trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout oversight
- Prototype, bring-up, test, debug, and iterate hardware through production and satellite integration
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, test, supply chain, and silicon teams to deliver integrated subsystems
- Drive requirements and verification for processors, FPGAs, high-speed SerDes, power systems, and RF interfaces
- Document designs, support manufacturing and test, and monitor on-orbit performance to drive improvements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics required
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
