Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or related STEM field
- 1+ years professional data/software engineering experience (internship experience applicable)
- Development experience in an object-oriented language (e.g., Python, C, C++)
- Experience with analytics, data science, or machine learning workflows
- Experience building streaming/in-stream data processing solutions for structured and semi-structured data
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining custom ETL pipelines
- Familiarity with networking concepts (OSI model and related principles)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing requirements
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- ITAR eligibility per U.S. Government export regulations
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sales enablement tools, processes, and custom software to identify growth areas and support customer conversations
- Support data-driven investigations into product and strategy questions for the Enterprise Sales team
- Automate aggregation of metrics to trend user behavior and network performance
- Establish and maintain relationships with sales and engineering stakeholders
- Apply analytics, models, and techniques to Starlink data products created by Enterprise Analytics
- Design and build software systems to ingest, transform, and store data
- Fuse data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for sales and product teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or other STEM discipline (required)
- Relevant internships or equivalent practical experience considered
