Skills
- Expertise with Consent Management Platforms and user preference centers.
- Strong knowledge of privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, ePrivacy, Directive, and NIST.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and capability to troubleshoot code-related issues.
- Experience in agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with tag management systems like Google Tag Manager and Tealium.
- Ability to apply privacy-by-design and data governance principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management and optimization of the Consent Management Platform (CMP) including configurations and template management.
- Collaborate with web and app engineers for flawless CMP integration and troubleshoot implementation issues.
- Develop and execute user consent and preference strategies that comply with global privacy laws.
- Monitor evolving privacy regulations and translate legal requirements into technical solutions.
- Serve as a privacy technical advisor for campaigns, product launches, and initiatives embedding privacy-by-design.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among Legal, Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment on consent management.
- Document CMP and preference center features comprehensively to support internal teams.
- Analyze CMP performance metrics and user engagement to inform business decisions.
- Maintain strong partnerships with CMP vendors and stay current with industry best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.
